The Quill, founded in 1910, is the student newspaper of Brandon University in Brandon, Manitoba and a member of the Canadian University Press.
At 17, The Quill was my very first paid job! This is where I learned the foundations of good writing and reporting. I was part of the paper for all four years of my undergraduate degree and even represented them at a National Conference. I wrote on a wide variety of topics ranging from arts & culture to campus news and columns.
